Physiotherapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical well-being. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our patients. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, medical histories, and goals to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Perform a range of physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to treat patients and alleviate pain.
  • Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, exercise programs, and strategies for maintaining physical health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to physiotherapy assistants and students.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of physiotherapy, incorporating evidence-based practices into treatment plans.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license or registration as a Physiotherapist, as required by the CPTBC
  • Proven experience working as a Physiotherapist, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Proficiency in assessing and diagnosing a wide range of physical conditions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in various physiotherapy techniques and modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
